so after going home to essex to see the friends and fammily i arrived back in plymouth today. The bus journey seemed painfully long, and sat next to some really fat bloke who was talking talking out of his arse all the way...still, good to be back and see people here in plymouth. Its been a good easter break- Scotland to begin with then seeing mates at home; going out for some drinks and catching up...
The website could look a bit better really, its kinda lacking something...o well not quite finished yet so i better keep going....
bye 4 now

Adventure and expo- Scotland trip
The start of the easter break, and after going out for the night i was off to scotland the next day with "adventure and expo"- the plymouth uni club for doing all that sorta that sorta thing.
7 am start on the bus- pretty damn tired. And tried to sleep on the bus- a mini bus trip from plymouth to fort william in scotaland....not the most comfortable, but not as bad as i thought either.
The first night we spent camping out, a pint or two in the pub and everybody seemed fairly tired and wanting to get to bed.
Slept well and then the next day on a walk in the valleys around fort william, absoulotly amazing scenery up there. We got up past the snow line and it got a little harder due to sliping and sliding a bit- generally unused to walking in snow...we decided that day not to go on but to return back and get into the bunk house.
For a week or so we stayed at the bunk house going walking each day up into the mountains.
My thermos flash diddnt work so plans of taking hot chocolate up mountains were scrapped, on a couple of the days one guy brought along a thermos flash of coffee and was sharing that about which went down well. One of the days we did somthing called "the ring of steel"- a series of "monroe's" (mountains in scotaland over a certain hight) were there was some walking along ridges- alot of fun.
On the last day we went up ben nevis- the highest mountain in the uk, quite hard work as we took a short cut up a quite steep gully using the ice axes and crampons. At the top the wind was blowing strong and it was hard to see anything as it was all completly white. We had lunch in the hut up there and then went on our way, we got in another peak- although took a while to get back from that one- which included more uphill slogs until we could go down. Some brilliant views up the top.

My life until now in a nutshell...
I grew up in Essex, never really enjoyed School particularly. I went to college at Havering sixth form where i studied art graphics, media and law at a level which was quite fun in some ways;. art graphics is quite hands on and lets you be quite creative, in media i had the chance to try other things like working with video.
College was pretty laid back generally and i spent alot of time hanging about and going out most nights. As well as going climbing at indoor walls or out door where possibly and going to the gym a bit. I had a part time job as a customer assistant. So all generally good fun.
Last year I took a year out to go travelling, which has probably been the best year of my life so far, seeing a lot more of the world and the different cultures meeting lots of quite diverse people, seeing interesting places and doing interesting things like climbing, walking, hand gliding, and driving off road etc (to name a few).
I decided to come to Plymouth uni to study digital art and technology due to it location, it being alot nicer than Essex and chances for water sports and outdoor activities. It has been a really fun first year, interesting work on the course, some great nights out on the town and I’ve made some good friends along the way.
